Summary

Join Rittal LLC as a Project Manager overseeing Data Center projects, acting as a liaison between various teams and partners. You will track and report project status, manage risks and issues, and collaborate with teams for corrective actions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong project management background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex projects from inquiry to commissioning. Responsibilities include defining project scope, creating project plans, clarifying team roles, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. You will also coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases, from inquiry to commissioning. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience in the data center business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 0-3 years’ experience in the data center business, in roles that required face-to-the-customer and project coordination skills
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in IT projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate project scope clearly
  • Create and manage project plans with clear assignments and timelines
  • Clarify duties, roles, and functions of team members
  • Foster a collaborative team environment encouraging contributions from all stakeholders
  • Monitor progress to anticipate delays and take corrective actions
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, costs, and benefits
  • Act as liaison between internal Rittal Teams, Channel Partners, Third-party vendors, End Users, Engineering firms, integrators, MEP, GC, and commissioning teams to align project goals and deliverables and facilitate project success
  • Assist in managing responses, pricing, and proposals from all parties involved to ensure timely and accurate information
  • Support the ordering of Rittal and third-party components and services, ensuring lead times meet customer expectations
  • Attend calls and ensure Rittal provides appropriate support and resources
  • Coordinate the delivery of products and scheduling of services from Rittal and other partners
  • Assist in overseeing support coordination from Rittal and other partners to ensure successful project completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IT Infrastructure and Data Centers preferred
  • Familiarity with MEP/construction processes is a plus
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Microsoft Office expertise
