Summary

Trilogy Federal is seeking a Project Manager with strong business analysis skills to support a large federal agency. The role involves setting up and managing PMOs, leading cross-functional teams, performing business analysis, managing stakeholders, and producing documentation and reports. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 8 years of relevant experience, active PMP certification, and proficiency in project management software. The role is remote with possible domestic travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead project management role
  • Active PMP certification
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing Project Management Offices (PMOs)
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills, with a focus on clarity and precision
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in stakeholder management and negotiation
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • The ability to support possible travel (three one-week trips per year.)

Responsibilities

  • Establish, manage, and optimize the Project Management Office (PMO) to consistently apply best practices and methodologies across projects
  • Develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and templates to standardize project delivery across the organization
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status, risks, and issues
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects that align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSM, LSS, or ITIL certification
  • Previous experience with the Dept of Veterans Affairsย or the Veterans Benefits Administration, Compensation Service
