Requirements
- At least three years of experience in a position that required project management and collaboration
- Strong people management track record
- Previous experience, knowledge, or expertise in supporting the OHS TTA Network
- Experience with online communications and team software and survey tools
- Ability to build relationships and influence others by interacting with a broad range of stakeholders with different interests and needs
- Exceptional reasoning, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Highly effective at communicating orally and in writing to a range of audiences
- Ability to work pro-actively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Focused on results โ committed to achieving team and organizational goals that support the funders initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively to people of varied professions, personal backgrounds, and cultures
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while also efficiently moving work forward
- Bachelorโs Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Responsibilities
- Oversee project management for funder-requested initiatives and priorities, ensuring alignment with the Office of Head Startโs expectations and DTL cooperative agreement
- Develop and manage systems and tools to support effective project execution for the NCDTL Leadership team
- Ensure seamless coordination across the leadership team, facilitating collaboration and alignment on project objectives and timelines
- Track and monitor project outcomes, ensuring that performance metrics align with the goals and standards set by the Office of Head Start and National Director
- Assist various DTL workgroups in planning and execution, providing guidance and resources to enhance their effectiveness
- Work with research and evaluation team to prepare comprehensive reports on project status, progress, and outcomes for funders and internal stakeholders
- Communicate with the Office of Head Start, upon request, addressing any needs in a timely and professional manner
- Apply deep knowledge of the Office of Head Startโs TTA Network to inform project planning and execution strategies
- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the department -or- project
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, CSM, MPM, CompTIA, or other)
