Project Scope Manager

Summary

The job is for a Project Scope Manager at Longbow Advantage, a warehousing strategy company. The role involves creating and coordinating detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) for WMS and LMS projects, engaging with customers to discuss project scope, validating project estimates, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management, scope management, or contract coordination roles within a consulting or large enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS), including their implementation processes, requirements, and potential challenges
• Proven experience engaging directly with customers to discuss project scope and validate project estimates
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance in documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage senior stakeholders and clients
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello) and document management systems
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment, with an understanding of billing clients by the hour
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications
