Proposal Design Consultant

Summary

Join GoodLeap, a technology company focused on sustainable solutions, as a Proposal Design Consultant. You will be responsible for reviewing and validating client proposals and designs, ensuring accuracy and providing strategic guidance on project design and execution. This role involves leveraging expertise in solar technology and market trends, delivering exceptional support to GoodLeap's customers, including third-party Sales Reps and Solar Contractors, by troubleshooting and resolving issues in real time. You will manage a pipeline of open issues and escalations, driving them to completion to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is crucial for the success of GoodLeap's platform and contributes directly to its growth in the renewable energy sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in solar energy project design or proposal development
• Strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage solutions, and grid integration
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in proposal software and tools; expertise in Aurora strongly preferred
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels
• Dedicated to staying informed about technological advancements and sustainability practices in the renewable energy sector

Responsibilities

• Reviews and validates solar project proposals, including system design, performance modeling, cost estimation, and technical documentation
• Reviews proposals and designs to ensure they pass our validation process
• Modify proposals as needed and communicate with contractors until the design validation process is complete
• Provide phone and email support to third-party Sales Reps and Solar Contractors, managing a pipeline of escalations through completion, conducting intermediate level root‐cause analysis, and escalating issues to appropriate business and technical teams as needed
