Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or related fields

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development activities in support of the Business Development (BD) team
• Identify, refine, and manage general proposal development process improvements
• Serve as primary point of content for client and proposal team during the proposal development phase
• Ensures full proposal team coverage for roles and guides team member’s completion of roles and responsibilities
• Manage SharePoint collaboration environment in proposal development phase
• Manage proposal development schedule and key milestones
• Create and manage the quality and integrity of all proposal development guidance documents
• Guide compilation, development, improvement, and edit of high-quality, compliant, and compelling BD content
• Write and improve BD content for proposal sections as required
• Participate in and provide input for capture development activities
• Perform final production, including quality checks, desktop publishing, branding checks, and editing adjudication
• Manage final proposal approvals, quality control, and delivery
• Conduct follow up on proposal award status or additional post-proposal activities
• Conduct retrospectives and lessons learned to capture process improvements
• Maintain knowledge management record for opportunity documentation and files
