Sr. Proposal Manager

Summary

The job description is for a Senior Proposal Manager position at MCS, a technology solutions provider based in Tampa, Florida. The role involves managing the full cycle federal proposal process, developing new content, researching relevant statistics and data, writing technical content, collaborating with teams, reviewing and editing proposals, and leading the overall proposal development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Desired)
• 10+ years experience with proposal writing/management for Federal Government and DoD customers
• 10+ years experience implementing standard proposal processes or procedures
• 5+ years experience with Telecommunications, Information Technologies staffing and solutions (helpdesk, operations and maintenance, etc), and Construction proposals
• Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques
• Ability to manage geographically separated teams
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently

Responsibilities

• Managing full cycle federal proposal process from compliance matrix development to final review team revisions and submission
• Developing new content to fit the Request For Proposal (RFP) requirements
• Researching relevant corporate, project, client, and industry statistics and data in support of creating proposal responses for all lines of business, segments, and international entities
• Writing a variety of technical content from Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews, research, and personal knowledge to produce winning solutions
• Collaborating with capture and business development teams on individual proposal development efforts to lead the writing team
• Reviewing and editing proposal responses for consistency, compliance, and win theme incorporation
• Working closely with senior leadership, capture personnel, and operations management to lead, manage, write, edit, review, and produce winning proposals
• Leading and managing the overall proposal development process from the Pre-Proposal Phase through the Post-Proposal phase
