Proposal Specialist

Summary

Join our growing consulting firm as a Proposal Specialist! You will collaborate with our proposal services team to develop winning proposals, qualifications, and presentations. Responsibilities include analyzing solicitation requirements, creating outlines, writing and editing proposal content, and managing proposal production. You will also contribute to developing and maintaining a content library and work with various teams to ensure compliance. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented with exceptional writing, editing, and document formatting and organization skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross functionality
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced matrix team environment
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, excels in time management, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced matrix team environment with strict deadlines
• Quick learner and ability to understand proposal processes and procedures
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or English

Responsibilities

• Analyze solicitation requirements and develop compliance matrices
• Create annotated proposal outlines with writing assignments
• Contribute to writing/editing/rewriting efforts to include researching subject matter resources and interviewing subject matter experts for required proposal content development
• Write and edit resumes and project descriptions specific to RFPs
• Complete RFP forms and obtain necessary corporate licensure documents from corporate compliance and contracts teams
• Assist with developing responses to data calls when our team is a subconsultant to another prime proposal
• Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining a centralized best content proposal library and repository of resumes, project profiles and descriptions, case studies, etc
• VA applicants – receive training on proposal print and production requirements to serve as backup resource for proposal production
• Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis
• Perform other duties as assigned
