Summary

The job is for a Provider Engagement/Onboarding Specialist who will work closely with the contracting team to ensure a smooth transition for providers after they have signed their contracts. The role involves reaching out to providers, onboarding them, reiterating contract terms, explaining processes, building relationships, providing ongoing support, and collaborating with internal departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in provider relations, onboarding, or a related role in the healthcare industry
• Strong understanding of healthcare provider contracts and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with providers and internal teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant healthcare software

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to providers following a warm transfer from the contracting team
• Welcome and onboard new providers, ensuring they feel supported and informed
• Reiterate contract terms and conditions, addressing any questions or concerns providers may have
• Explain Nomi processes, systems, and expectations clearly and thoroughly
• Serve as a primary point of contact for providers during the onboarding process
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with providers
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure providers are satisfied and fully integrated into our system
• Work closely with the contracting team to ensure a smooth transition and handoff
• Collaborate with internal departments to address any provider-related issues promptly and efficiently
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of provider interactions and onboarding progress
• Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience for providers
