Join Reliance Health, a company transforming healthcare in emerging markets, as a Provider Relations Associate. You will be responsible for interacting with secondary care providers, educating them on processes, resolving escalations, and negotiating tariffs. This role involves identifying and outreaching to high-quality providers, signing them up to the network, and onboarding them to company processes. You will maintain strong provider relationships, address concerns, and conduct educational forums. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a similar role, a degree in a health-related field, and bilingual proficiency in French and English. Previous healthcare industry experience and strong negotiation skills are essential.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience in a similar or related role, with a proven track record of success in delivering results
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required, with English serving as the primary language of global business communication
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is essential
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulations, and industry standards
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Good negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to share ideas clearly and work well with people from different backgrounds
Responsibilities
- Identify and outreach to high quality medical, dental, optical care providers, gyms, spas, and pharmacies to join or network across various neighborhoods based on requests from our insurance plan enrollees and other key stakeholders
- Provide accurate, thorough, and compelling information about Reliance Health to persuade providers to join the network and address concerns
- Effectively and efficiently sign up highly requested providers to the network
- Negotiate competitive tariffs with prospective healthcare providers
- Onboard providers at record time to our processes for enrollee verification, claims processes to meet the quality standards
- Ensure adequate and complete documentation of all provider agreements, SLAs, and MOUs
- Maintain strong relationships with existing healthcare providers through regular communication and support
- Proactively address provider concerns and issues, escalating to relevant teams as needed
- Develop and conduct educational forums to inform providers about new regulations and company policies
- Provide ongoing support and training to enhance provider performance and satisfaction
- Engage with providers with low ratings to identify and address underlying issues
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in a health-related field (e.g., Public Health, Nursing, Health Administration, etc.) is highly desirable and will be considered an added advantage
- Familiarity with data entry, reporting, and presentation tools will be an advantage
