The Public Affairs Strategy Manager will take lead on managing client deliverables, ensuring high-quality project deliverables, and collaborating with internal teams. They will also develop and execute strategic initiatives, manage potential risks, and monitor performance.

Requirements

  • Passion for advancing the global freedom movement
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Media or a related field are helpful, but not required
  • Proven experience in public affairs, media relations, or a related field, with a strong understanding of media strategy, including crisis management. Experience managing projects in a fast-paced environment, agency preferred
  • Experience working remotely, including exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, with high attention to detail, professionalism under deadline pressure and ability to cross-team collaborate
  • Professional, polished and concise communicator (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for client relationship management
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the company/clients. Can include some travel, early mornings, late evenings and the occasional weekend
  • Excellent knowledge of Basecamp, Apple and GSuite products

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of intake and response for client communication
  • Develop strategic client engagement and ensure high quality project deliverables
  • Collaborate with clients to define key messages, target audiences, goals, missions and objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives and processes tailored to each client's unique needs and goals
  • Proactively forecast and manage potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for clients
  • Monitor and measure the success of client projects using key performance indicators
  • Work closely with management and internal teams to establish seamless collaboration and execution of projects
