Summary

The Public Relations Associate role at Marathon Digital Holdings involves assisting in developing and executing the company’s PR programs, building media relationships, securing positive coverage, and managing the company's reputation. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience in public relations or corporate marketing, preferably within the energy, technology, or Bitcoin industry.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in public relations (agency or in-house) and/or corporate marketing
• Proven experience assisting with the development and execution of strategic communication programs, preferably within the energy, technology, or Bitcoin industry
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers, as well as secure positive coverage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor media coverage and industry trends, derive insights, and provide guidance on a constantly evolving PR strategy
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; a unique ability to communicate complex and technical concepts clearly and concisely; attention to detail is a must
• Experience with conference sponsorships and coordinating conference logistics, ideally within the energy sector
• Strong organizational skills. A history of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of PR in developing and executing an effective strategic communications program
• Help build trusted relationships with the media, secure positive coverage, and manage the company's reputation
• Evangelize the company’s mission, milestones, products, and strategic initiatives to media outlets and influencers
• Collaborate with the Company’s PR firms to amplify the company's messaging across various channels
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, provide insights to the Director of PR and other internal stakeholders, and adjust PR strategies as needed
• Assist in developing and implementing brand advocacy initiatives
• Conceptualize, draft, and distribute press releases and PR materials for key company announcements and milestones
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all messaging aligns with the company's values and objectives
