Requirements

  • Exude confidence being on the front-line pitching to print, broadcast and digital media
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to develop creative pitch concepts
  • Inventive solutions for project challenges; sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
  • Infectious passion and excitement in internal meetings and client presentations
  • Ask questions and strive to be a subject matter expert on clientsโ€™ business, media platforms, influencer networks, etc

Responsibilities

  • Serve as day-to-day PR lead and client contact on various client accounts
  • Compile and build media lists; come with current media connections and continue to build new connections with lifestyle and consumer publications
  • Lead writing projects such as press releases, blog posts and media pitches
  • Manage budgets, communication and process with publishers at various outlets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize campaign activation ideas, secure unique placements and execute a variety of public relations initiatives for our clients including: Build on ideas in brainstorms and in partnership with influencer marketing team to enhance integrated campaign development
  • Lead client calls and new business calls for earned media updates and capabilities; build trusting relationships with client counterparts to make SRW an indispensable partner
  • Develop recommendations for satellite media tours and lead sponsored content initiatives
  • Manage awards submissions for key client campaigns and case studies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with PR tools like Cision, Meltwater, etc
  • Solid media contacts in-market; thorough knowledge of media pitching and strong pitching skills
  • A connection to pop culture; do you proactively stay up to speed on industry trends, social media platforms and our clientsโ€™ competitive landscape?
