  • Fundamental knowledge in IT, particularly in Windows and Linux systems administration
  • Suitable clearances, including DV
  • Networking experience and understanding of network architecture and design principles
  • Ability to gather and comprehend customer requirements effectively
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with diverse teams and suppliers
  • Experience with VMware/virtualization technologies, including ESX and vCentre
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and maintain composure during critical incidents
  • Proficiency in Ansible automation and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and agile teams
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and scripting experience
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and JIRA Service Desk
  • Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and NSX-T
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to clients in resolving IT issues related to Windows and Linux systems administration
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather and understand customer requirements effectively
  • Working closely with other suppliers and staff members to deliver comprehensive support solutions
  • Utilizing VMware/virtualization experience, including ESX and vCentre, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Operating effectively in high-pressure environments, maintaining composure and efficiency during critical situations
  • Employing Ansible automation tools and problem-solving skills to streamline support processes and enhance efficiency
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and clients, providing clear and concise updates and solutions
