Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate development, leasing, property management, or related field
- Prior experience managing entitlement processes or coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in all phases of real estate leasing, including sourcing, due diligence, and negotiation
- Manage and review commercial lease agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency with organizational policies and legal requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help secure favorable lease terms
- Assist with entitlement processes, working with local government and regulatory bodies to understand and secure necessary approvals
- Facilitate internal and external meetings related to ongoing development projects
- Ensure smooth communication between project teams, consultants, architects, contractors, and stakeholders
- Monitor and track project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed according to deadlines and project milestones are achieved
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to assist with meeting design specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Data entry and validation of new lease information into the lease administration database
- Abstract leases to capture tenant-specific terms, clauses, and options, ensuring proper documentation and easy access to critical lease information
- Continuously track and report critical lease dates, including renewals, expirations, and other key milestones to ensure timely actions are taken
