Summary
Join FutureSight, a venture studio co-creating and investing in B2B SaaS and Vertical AI startups, as a Recruiter. You will lead recruitment and talent development for FutureSight's core team and its ventures. Key responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, sourcing top-tier talent, building talent pipelines, and developing training programs. You will collaborate with founders and studio leads to form early-stage teams and support onboarding and coaching. This is a full-time, remote-friendly role based in North America (Toronto preferred). Requirements
- 3β5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or people operations
- Familiarity hiring for startups, VCs, or venture studios
- Deep understanding of the North American startup ecosystem
- Strong ability to evaluate founder mindset, ambition, and entrepreneurial fit
- Excellent communicator β empathetic, curious, and clear
- Highly organized with strong prioritization and project management skills
- Action-oriented and resourceful; comfortable operating in ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the full recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviews
- Identify and evaluate exceptional founder talent and early-stage operators
- Build a high-quality pipeline of future candidates (founders, operators, advisors)
- Use events, content, referrals, and outreach to grow awareness and interest in FutureSight
- Maintain an up-to-date talent CRM for active and passive prospects
- Collaborate with founders and Studio leads to form early-stage teams
- Support onboarding, coaching, and capability-building for new hires
- Develop training programs and repeatable hiring toolkits
- Track recruiting metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a recruitment firm, early-stage VC, or studio
- HR certification or formal education in talent/people ops
- Familiarity with DEI hiring practices
- Exposure to B2B SaaS or AI startups
- Passion for early-stage innovation and startup building
