Summary

Join Window Nation as an Install Recruiter and provide full-cycle recruiting support to our installation operations teams across the United States. This high-volume, 100% remote position requires 50% travel. You will intensively scout for 1099 window and door installation crews, interview subcontractors, research markets, and build relationships with industry partners. The role demands developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws. Success requires experience in corporate or agency recruiting or the home improvement industry.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of corporate or agency recruiting experience, or 3+ years of relevant home improvement industry experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet our corporate automobile insurance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Intensively scout for 1099 window and door installation crews in all assigned markets
  • Interview subcontractors in the field, by phone, virtually or in our local field offices to evaluate fit for installation partnership opportunities
  • Research strategic local market locations to find 1099 subcontractors, building a strong pipeline and partnerships with these entities
  • Establish relationships with industry partners in local markets to identify recruiting sources
  • Conduct extensive competitor research to identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses in their respective 1099 installation programs
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified subcontractor partnerships through job postings, cold calling, continuous follow up, social media, networking, and employee referrals
  • Establish ongoing effective relationships with Window Nation operations leaders to fully understand their needs, wants and challenges when making the subcontractor selection decisions
  • Ensure compliance with all required local, state, and federal employment, environmental and labor laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success with recruiting 1099 subcontractors
  • Proven record of establishing productive and effective working relationships
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in protection and dissemination of company confidential and proprietary information
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work outside the standard 9-5 to accommodate prospects and time zones as needed
  • Ability to learn new technology and adapt to a new environment with strong analytical, administrative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills, and experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
