Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 9+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- 5+ years in oncology or rare oncology disease
- Previous frontline management experience for outside candidates
- Strong understanding of Oncology/Rare disease therapeutic area and current trends
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry procedures and regulations
- Strong business acumen related to selling in Oncology and Customer account management
- Proactive; takes ownership of situations and demonstrates problem solving ability, team leader
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful cross-functional teams through effective motivation and leadership
- Provide ethical leadership and demonstrate SpringWorks’ values by adhering to corporate policies and required sales practice regulations in a compliant and ethical manner
- Ensure each sales manager and sales representative understands, accepts and adheres to the policies and procedures
- Model SpringWorks Leadership Principles to drive a collaborative function that embraces innovation and drives superior employee experience through growth management
- Embody the SpringWorks Values to act with empathy and humility to drive a culture that takes ownership and accountability for their individual and teams’ performance
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors effectively and clearly in a remote hybrid work environment
- Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need
- This position must be able to work East Coast hours
Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and coach a high-performing sales team
- Establish and maintain a positive reputation for SpringWorks with key customers
- Oversee the development and execution of strategic sales and account plans
- Analyze the Region’s business and build short- and long-term business plans to drive sales growth
- Develop regional business strategies to increase access to the brand and support the brand objectives
- Partner with commercial operations and data, analytics & insights to ensure the integrity of customer data
- Communicate competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management
- Develop local opinion leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives
- Ensure high level of collaboration with alliance partners to maximize joint efforts
- Monitor and understand sales trends and competitor activities
- Understand the oncology healthcare landscape and market dynamics, trends, competitors, regulations
- Attend sales meetings, training programs and medical conventions as requested
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA)
- Internal (SpringWorks) development plan for RBD role as a next step in career path, management programs or courses completed and support from in-line leadership as a career path next step
Benefits
- Expected salary range for this position is $184,000 – $250,000
- A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance
