Summary

Join dbt Labs as a Regional Director of Solutions Architecture to lead the Southeast team, driving revenue growth and customer success. You will mentor and develop a team of Solutions Architects, fostering a collaborative culture. Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets through value-based selling and guide the go-to-market strategy. Actively participate in recruiting and screening candidates. This role requires 7+ years of pre-sales experience, including 3+ years of direct management, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is needed. Residency in the Southeastern U.S. and willingness to work East Coast hours are also required.

Requirements

  • Reside in the Southeastern U.S. and are willing to work East Coast hours
  • 7+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity, including 3+ years of direct frontline management experience (recruiting, ramping, and retaining top talent)
  • Experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Architects
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture within the team
  • Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, through value-based selling
  • Guide our GTM strategy in the region by providing insight on sales strategy, product gaps, and advocating for your teamโ€™s needs
  • Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates to ensure that we maintain a high talent bar
