Summary

Join Alliance Animal Health as a Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing veterinary hospital network across the Mid-Atlantic and Southcentral regions. As a strategic partner and consultant, you will drive people strategies that align with operational goals, enhance culture, and enable exceptional patient care. Your role will focus on talent and performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and HR process optimization. You will report to the HR Director and collaborate with other HR team members and regional leaders. This remote, U.S.-based position requires some travel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong HR generalist background, business acumen, and the ability to navigate the challenges of the veterinary industry. This role is both strategic and hands-on.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required); HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a multi-site HRBP or regional HR role
  • Proven ability to build relationships with leaders and employees at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, empathy, and adaptability
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and coaching on HR-related matters including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement
  • Build strong working relationships with regional operations leaders and Central Support employees
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with recruiting partners
  • Lead and support investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes while maintaining a fair and consistent approach
  • Monitor HR metrics (turnover, engagement, retention) and use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead and support the implementation of HR policies, programs, and systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across assigned region

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in healthcare, veterinary medicine, or other clinical environments strongly preferred
