Summary
Join Airspace as a Regional Manager - Dedicated Driver and manage a network of dedicated drivers, ensuring customer needs are met and executing tactical initiatives for top-quality service. Establish and maintain healthy driver bases, develop strong driver/customer relationships, coordinate change requests, and provide direct support to drivers. Proactively partner with the Revenue team, drive quality and support initiatives, conduct market performance reviews, and develop a performance management program. Manage driver rate establishment, billing, and payment execution, actively govern work through documentation, and identify opportunities to streamline processes. Partner with your manager to identify and resolve process gaps. This role requires nationwide travel up to 50-60% of the time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics operations
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide up to 50%-60% of the time
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Positive attitude and ability to build relationships with drivers and customers
- Detail-oriented and excels at active listening
- Ability to partner with cross-functional team to drive positive outcomes in service
- Action-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in an environment where work activities require rigorous process adherence
- Time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Solution mindset: Demonstrated ability to βownβ problems and eagerness to drive real-time solutions
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain healthy driver bases across your assigned geos / customers (which includes closely monitoring performance, developing improvement plans, proactive communication post-onboarding)
- Develop strong driver / customer POC relationships through daily interactions (regularly conducts onsite visits to check-in with drivers)
- Coordinate change requests with driver / customer
- Provide direct support to drivers on tactical problems that arise
- Proactively partner with the Revenue team to swiftly action driver feedback and develop clear resolution plans
- Drive quality and support initiatives
- Conduct market performance reviews
- Develop performance management program (i.e. continuous improvement plans, quarterly re-training, etc)
- Manage driver rate establishment, billing and payment execution
- Actively governs work through formal documentation and identifies new opportunities to streamline processes
- Partners with their manager to openly identify process gaps and takes direction to swiftly close them
Benefits
$75k salary + 15% bonus target (split 50/50 individual/company)
