Requirements

  • 8+ years of technology sales experience
  • 5+ years experience directly managing and motivating a quota carrying enterprise field sales team
  • Previous experience managing a sales team in the Eastern US
  • Public Sector sales experience and understanding of this market’s unique compliance requirements
  • Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology

Responsibilities

  • Provide impactful coaching and professional development to Account Executives
  • Work closely with the executive team to establish performance metrics
  • Oversee the coordination of Field Sales Engineers and support teams to ensure alignment with performance goals and consistently meet customer expectations
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
