Summary

Join Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) as a Regional Sales Manager! You will be responsible for defining and executing territory sales plans, exceeding sales goals, and managing the sales process from lead to close. This role requires strong consultative selling skills, pipeline management expertise, and the ability to build relationships with prospective clients. You will leverage internal resources and maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, a proven track record of revenue attainment, and a bachelor's degree. Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and manage a mid-west territory
  • 3+ years of full SaaS sales cycle experience into new and/or existing accounts
  • Proven track record in managing sales cycles & successful revenue attainment
  • Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners
  • Experience working cross functionally and collaboratively
  • Consultative selling, pipeline management & negotiating skills
  • Ability to engage prospective clients through presentations
  • Ability to quickly learn the medical specialty you are selling into
  • Ability to flex and adapt to different situations
  • Professional and engaging communication and presentation skills
  • Driven, competitive and goal-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute territory sales plans and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned geographic territory
  • Proactively cultivate and develop relationships with prospective clients to identify, qualify and develop quality sales opportunities as part of the sales team focusing on net new business
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently close business within assigned specialty, territory, and segment
  • Manage sales cycles from lead to close, including quote creation and contract negotiations
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to build trusted relationships with prospective customers
  • Develop strong product and industry knowledge to demo Modernizing Medicine's suite of solutions to prospective clients effectively
  • Leverage internal resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
  • Ensure data integrity and accurate forecasting by entering and maintaining accurate and useful customer data, including customer contact information and interactions in our Salesforce CRM software
  • Actively participate in industry-relevant trade shows
