Requirements
- Minimum of (6) years of related field sales experience selling directly into benefit broker partners
- Broad, deep relationships within the broker community
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales and revenue goals
- Demonstrated success in broker channel sales, preferably in employee benefit solutions
- Strong interpersonal communication skills; excellent poise and presentation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time within your assigned territory
Responsibilities
- Build a territory, drive sales cycles, and close business within the employee benefits broker community
- Formulate and execute a strategy to maximize sales growth
- Generate revenue for your assigned region
- Meet or exceed quota and activity metrics
- Drive sales strategies centered around understanding and addressing the unique needs and challenges of employers and employee benefits brokers
- Build trust and value relationships with the HealthJoy team and internal & external stakeholders
- Work your accounts at every stage, enjoying the chase and follow up
- Develop a long-term strategy by focusing on building lasting broker relationships
- Be adaptable to change
- Appreciate constructive feedback and leverage resources and training
- Help execute new strategies, sales decks, and talk tracks
- Use activity tracking to gauge progress
- Think outside the box and try new strategies
- Exhibit strong tenacity and a proactive mindset, consistently pursuing broker and employer meetings
- Possess strong sales discovery skills, adept at uncovering employer and broker needs
- Demonstrate executive presence with exceptional presentation, communication and writing skills
- Engage in social settings and meet new people
- Develop the market by creating and fostering new broker relationships
- Articulate the HealthJoy cost-containment value proposition
- Work in partnership within Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Sales Enablement
- Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the HealthJoy product offerings
- Foster productive collaboration across various organizational levels and departments
- Use Salesforce to track all opportunities, leads, activities, forecasts, etc
- Learn the complexities of the healthcare, benefits and navigation industries, and can articulate and run demos using our technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within healthcare navigation, virtual care services and/or employee benefits or healthcare data analytics
- Experience selling to mid-market employers (100-3K employees)
