Summary

Join Degreed as a seasoned sales leader to spearhead our expansion into the LATAM region. You will be responsible for pipeline generation, new logo acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and building a high-performing sales team. This role demands close collaboration with various internal teams and requires strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution. As the senior commercial leader in LATAM, you will be a market thought leader, leveraging key accounts to scale revenue. You will report to the SVP of Global Sales and play a crucial role in executing the broader LATAM growth strategy. Success hinges on your operational leadership, sales expertise, and ability to recruit and develop top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in large enterprise software sales motion
  • Proven track record in managing prospect and client relationships to navigate complex scope conversations with positive outcomes for enterprise clients
  • Ability to create and present compelling action plans based on metrics, data, and client history
  • Experience with value engineering, Challenger, MEDDPICC in selling in large enterprise environments
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-Suite, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong experience working remotely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, operations, engineering, legal, finance)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to drive growth
  • High emotional intelligence and strong leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Proven expertise in recruiting, developing, and retaining top-tier sales talent
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Execute Degreedโ€™s GTM strategy in LATAM, driving revenue growth through direct sales, account management, and field marketing
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and renewals targets
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent to build an elite, diverse team capable of achieving aggressive growth targets
  • Carry quotas both personally and for the team while growing the region
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with Degreedโ€™s worldwide objectives and best practices
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that client needs and success are at the core of decision-making
  • Innovate and adapt sales strategies to meet the evolving market landscape and leverage emerging technologies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Degreed leadership and within the Degreed ecosystem
  • Regularly communicate progress, value of initiatives, and address challenges or blockers
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with prospects and customers
  • Develop a strategic LATAM business plan
  • Monitor and manage pipeline activity to meet sales targets and accurately forecast sales activity
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities
