Summary

This remote position offers a competitive salary (PHP 70,000-115,000) and excellent benefits. You will be responsible for relaying test results, processing referrals, ordering labs, maintaining EMRs, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate possesses at least one year of experience as a medical virtual assistant, a US RN license, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Possess an RN License (US certified)
  • Have at least 1-year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
  • Demonstrate excellent English communication skills (written and verbal, at least C1 level)
  • Possess a solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices
  • Be proficient in EHR/EMR systems and able to troubleshoot common technical issues
  • Demonstrate an understanding of healthcare privacy regulations
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to details
  • Be tech-savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP
  • Be able to work on a graveyard shift
  • Have a USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
  • Have a working Webcam
  • Have a main and backup computer: at least 1.8 GHz processor with at least 4GB RAM
  • Have a main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps wired connection
  • Have a backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps

Responsibilities

  • Call patients to relay test results in a timely and professional manner
  • Create and process referrals for specialized healthcare providers
  • Order labs and imaging while coordinating and scheduling appointments for patients
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Use communication tools like Avaya soft phone to interact with patients and healthcare providers
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as needed to support the healthcare team

Preferred Qualifications

Have specialization or experience in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical settings
