Responsibilities

  • Manage revenue reporting
  • Ensure accurate bookings in Xero
  • Maintain revenue sub-ledgers
  • Create automated processes to analyse monthly recurring revenue (MRR) variances and offer insights to senior leaders
  • Handle client billing requests quickly and consistently, resolving them within one business day
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and help us hit our DSO goals by keeping communication flowing between teams and clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA licence
  • Experience with SaaS revenue models
  • Experience with Xero and Maxio

Before You Join The SaaS Academy Team…

We’re looking for an Accountant who’s ready to dive into the details and keep our finances running smoothly.

You’ll be joining our Finance team, helping to manage revenue processes, and supporting our internal teams so they can focus on what they do best.

We need someone who’s organised, thorough, and can spot even the smallest error.

In this role, you will:

💼 Manage revenue reporting, ensure accurate bookings in Xero, and maintain revenue sub-ledgers

📊 Create automated processes to analyse monthly recurring revenue (MRR) variances and offer insights to senior leaders

📨 Handle client billing requests quickly and consistently, resolving them within one business day

📅 Oversee Accounts Receivable and help us hit our DSO goals by keeping communication flowing between teams and clients

Working Hours ⏰: This is a full-time role with core working hours of noon-8pm CET (6am-2pm EST) but there is some flexibility.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

✅ 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

✅ Strong English proficiency (both written and verbal)

✅ Great attention to detail and organisation

✅ Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships

✅ Ability to solve problems and see both the big picture and small details

✅ High level of ownership and follow-through

Brownie points for:

⭐ CPA licence

⭐ Experience with SaaS revenue models

⭐ Experience with Xero and Maxio

The hiring process for this position will include the following steps:

  5. If shortlisted, completing a test project.
