Requirements
- Sales experience working in Financial Services or B2B tech sales selling to Financial Advisors
- Experience in the retirement industry and building relationships with retirement specialists
- Curiosity and interest in financial products and retirement planning
- A consistent track record of exceeding targets
- Desire to build a new business vertical, iterating on processes and collaborating with shared teams
- High energy and willingness to learn
- Self motivated and adaptable to change
- Experience with sales technology stack- Salesforce, Groove, Gong- a plus
Responsibilities
- Own a sales territory to grow Bettermentโs retirement platform by partnering with Financial Advisors to increase sales of retirement plans
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for the Advisorโs retirement plan business
- Travel in territory (25%) to deepen relationships with top advisors and maximize sales outcomes
- Partner internally with Business Development Representatives to source and close new Advisor relationships
- Create opportunities from new business referrals, educating prospects and developing strategies for Betterments products
- Conduct discovery and online demonstration calls, managing the entire sales cycle to closing deals and selling the value of Betterment products
- Meet and exceed Bookings goals
- Ensure effective and consistent use of Salesforce, Groove, Gong and other sales tools
