Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of a team responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting applications
• Work to establish functional application requirements and reviews solutions to ensure organizational needs are met
• Selects and oversees implementation of one or more application development methodologies
• Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps to ensure continuous improvement of applications
• Develop enterprise-level applications and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features
• Provide a general functional knowledge, advanced systems design knowledge, and project leadership for application systems projects
• Assist in the definition of user requirements and in the development of functional specifications
• Develop high level technical specifications and detail program specifications
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all common application development software in use by the organization
• Work with IT Management to manage Developer resources and workloads to ensure timely completion of IT projects. Provide coaching and training to grow Developer technical and functional expertise
