Responsibilities

  • Ensure the success of Accela’s Professional Services projects, maintaining high standards and adhering to best practices
  • Work closely with implementation teams to translate the vision of our Civic Platform into reality using technical expertise
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical and business solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to drive effective technical decisions and workstreams
  • Coordinate with Delivery Directors, Project Managers, Architects, and other team members, as well as customers, to deliver technology solutions that align with customer requirements
  • Take ownership of end-to-end solution delivery, including design, testing, documentation, packaging, and deployment
  • Contribute to the creation of redistributable packaged solutions for global customer use
  • Champion best practices and delivery standards, ensuring positive user experiences
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both the customer and the project team, managing expectations and promoting solution adoption
  • Lead technical and architecture workshops to educate and engage customers
  • Collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to incorporate customer feedback into productized packaged solutions
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Technical Consultant plays a key role within Accela’s Professional Services team by leveraging software development skills to support project implementation teams in configuring, deploying, and automating the Civic Application Platform for our customers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Technical Consultant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of Accela’s Professional Services projects, maintaining high standards and adhering to best practices. You’ll work closely with implementation teams to translate the vision of our Civic Platform into reality using your technical expertise.

  • A strong candidate for this role will have the ability to:
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical and business solutions.

COMPENSATION AND WELL-BEING

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $110,000. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an annual base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus target. This is a discretionary bonus awarded based on company and individual goal achievement.
