Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a relevant field
  • Excellent writing skills in English with a demonstrable ability to put together business-worthy written pieces
  • Experience with online inbound marketing tools (HubSpot, CRMs etc.)
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to work within deadlines
  • Experience in B2C and inbound marketing strategies
  • Experience with data and analytics in customer profiling, segmentation & targeting, and data cleansing
  • Understanding of the retail industry and luxury market
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics

Responsibilities

  • Follow the content marketing strategy, facilitate ongoing content planning by developing and following the editorial calendar, and manage tasks to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with creative design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Create captivating multimedia content (Graphics/video) in coordination with design teams
  • Write, edit, proofread and improve content in coordination with copywriters
  • Repurpose content – write captions, create infographics and more
  • Be the brand custodian - sign off on artwork, ensuring the brand tone of voice and image are maintained according to the brand guidelines
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms
  • Manage social media communities to keep the follower base engaged and increase brand visibility
  • Oversee paid campaign strategy, creation, execution, optimization, and monitoring to deliver the best ROIs
  • Manage the creation, scheduling, testing and deployment of all customer email campaigns and newsletter, ensuring timely deployment to maximize performance
  • Ongoing management and continued segmentation of email database to identify and target actives, lapsers and dormant with specific campaigns
  • Track the performance of emails KPI’s against the targets and communicate the performance to internal stakeholders
  • Work within the budget and report any overspend
  • Support with planning and adjust plans according to strategy
  • Communicate and report performance results with actionable recommendations
