• Review title abstracts and chain of title, legal descriptions, surveys, lien searches, property taxes, probate, and bankruptcy documents
• Prepare or review title commitments including requirements, endorsements, and exceptions
• Cure title issues with speed and accuracy, and review all clearance documentation for sufficiency
• Draft and review documents, deeds, affidavits, and state-specific recording transmittal forms
• Review entity documents for authority and create signature blocks
• Identify dower and witnessing requirements for documents
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal team members to manage closing timelines and support in communication of issues to customers
• Collaborate with internal team members and underwriters to resolve issues as quickly as possible
• Prepare title policies and assist in the event of a claim
