Remote Data Conversions Specialist

Summary

Join our team as a highly skilled Data Conversion Specialist to lead and manage data conversion projects from start to finish, ensuring accurate migration and validation of data according to project requirements. As a key member of our ERP team, you will design and implement data mapping and transformation processes, utilize ETL tools, and collaborate with other departments to understand data requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data conversion, data migration, or data management roles
• Proficiency in data conversion tools, ETL processes, SQL, and database management systems
• Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data conversion projects from start to finish
• Ensure that all data is accurately migrated and validated according to project requirements
• Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes
• Utilize various ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and methodologies to facilitate data migration
• Perform thorough data validation and testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of converted data
• Address and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly
• Work closely with other departments, including Development, Product, Implementation Consultants, and support teams
• Clearly communicate ideas, solutions, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data conversion processes, methodologies, and issues encountered
• Develop and update technical documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance data conversion efficiency and effectiveness
• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues, including data migration errors and system integration challenges
