Remote Director of Business Development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience with business development, opportunity capture, or proposal support

Responsibilities

• Maintain current client relationship and identify areas for potential clients
• Contact potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them
• Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods
• Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
• Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
• Operate a variety of Business Intelligence tools to monitor competitor and industry news, develop target company profiles, source reports and information and issue routine briefings to management staff
• Respond to Request for Information (RFI) notices and develop/populate proposal templates
• Participate in or facilitate business process modeling & research efforts
• Conduct market analysis
• Develop Price to Win (PTW) analysis for opportunities
• Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, symposia, and other venues for information gathering and networking
• Generate plans for business development offerings to satisfy emerging customer requirements
• Conduct competitive intelligence development thorough understanding of the federal contracting arena, to include large and small businesses
• Create and maintain databases; enter and retrieve data; analyze, create and present reports from databases, forms and questionnaires, monitor record keeping procedures for accuracy, and compile data; review and prepare reports and debriefings
