Requirements

  • 8+ years of business development experience, preferably in the recruiting industry or similar
  • Proven success in building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and mid-level professionals in talent acquisition
  • Experience in creating referral networks and client acquisition systems
  • Strong understanding of the recruiting industry and market dynamics, particularly in Germany
  • Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Willingness to travel across Europe, particularly to Berlin but also to London and Amsterdam

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the business development strategy, focusing on networking and establishing a robust referral network within the recruiting industry
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including VPs of People, Heads of Talent Acquisition, and Talent Acquisition Partners
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment between BD efforts and passive lead generation
  • Design and implement scalable processes for client acquisition and business growth
  • Build and manage a business development team over time
