Join Snif as the Director of Finance to lead high-level efforts like demand and financial planning, accounting, KPI metrics and reporting, investor relations, and supporting our Board of Directors. As a key member of our team, you will own the day-to-day financial operations, such as budgeting, inventory tracking, budget management, accounting, insurance, and more.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in finance, management consulting, or investment banking; experience with consumer or retail a plus; beauty and personal care industries are a major plus
  • You are analytical, and have the ability to translate data into simple, real-world outcomes and goals
  • Off-the-charts EQ
  • Exceptional management and organizational skills
  • Unmatched drive and attention to detail with the ability to interpret performance data, identify opportunities for growth, and achieve high-level goals
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that support developing and maintaining real, trusting relationships
  • Eagerness to roll-up your sleeves with a “figure it out” mentality

  • Experience with accounting, invoice, and payroll software/platforms, specifically Quickbooks
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Lead the forecasting process for our DTC and wholesale business on individual SKU and product category levels
  • Partner with our Operations team to execute on demand plan and approve POs
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve on cost and efficiency without sacrificing on our Snif quality standards
  • Create and oversee our annual operating budget
  • Own P&L including gross-to-net revenue and margin profiles
  • Long term cash flow forecasting on a quarter by quarter basis
  • Short term cash flow forecasting on a weekly basis
  • Manage and partner with our accounting team and function to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
  • Maintaining profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements on a monthly basis
  • Track/calculate monthly cost of goods sold, scrap costs and other inventory specific costs
  • Track/calculate inventory on hand balances and identify slow moving SKUs
  • Bi-weekly projection of working capital usage and potential adjustments needed to credit facility
  • Weekly purchase order forecasting and invoice tracking
  • Own and lead our bi-weekly Metrics company-wide meetings
  • Report on overall DTC and Wholesale revenue (actuals vs plan)
  • Review credit terms on a quarterly basis to ensure leverage and terms meet the needs of company
  • Networking and securing new investor relationships
  • Support future investment rounds, negotiations, and due diligence
  • Lead quarterly BOD meetings and facilitate material creation
  • Compile financial statements - P&L, Budget vs Actuals, etc
  • Management of existing insurance policies on an annual basis, including the review of annual premiums and covered events
  • Management of the company’s employee benefits and annual renewals
