Remote E-commerce Specialist

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in e-commerce support roles, familiar with platforms like Shopify, Recharge, and Contentful
• Technical Skills: Experience with QAing content, discount codes, referral programs, and data flows
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to monitor and QA various e-commerce processes
• Problem Solver: Proactive approach to investigating and resolving issues related to orders, fraud, and customer service escalations
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide clear updates to teams

Responsibilities

• Manage and support e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Recharge, and Contentful
• Update banners and content in Contentful, manage copy changes, and perform QA on website content to maintain a high-quality user experience
• QA and update discount codes, add and manage Shopify apps, and support operations by QAing orders and investigating order spikes for potential fraud
• Oversee the referral program and investigate order spikes and other irregularities for potential fraud
• Act as the first point of contact for investigating customer service escalations, such as shipping concerns
• Perform QA on email marketing flows and ensure data flows in Shop Flow are functioning properly
• Assist in monitoring shipping switches, Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), and inventory levels. QA orders post-changes for accuracy
• Generate customer reports in Shopify, conduct light SEO tracking, and manually QA marketing pixels
• Monitor and QA data flows between systems and platforms to ensure smooth operation
