Summary

Join PragerU, a leading conservative nonprofit, as an Engagement Manager! You will manage a portfolio of 2000-2500 donors, focusing on raising gifts between $1,000 and $5,000. Responsibilities include donor stewardship, renewal, increasing support, and qualifying donors for higher-level giving. You'll engage donors via phone, email, and text, aiming to meet weekly, quarterly, and annual fundraising goals. This role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. The ideal candidate possesses a conservative worldview aligned with PragerU's values and has 2-5 years of professional experience. A background in fundraising is preferred, but sales, customer service, or marketing experience is also considered.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to new and existing donors primarily on the phone, with weekly activity goals for calls made, emails/texts sent, appointments made, and solicitations/asks
  • Screen and qualify existing online donors to identify high-capacity supporters and prospect for potential new donors
  • Update records to ensure key donors are being stewarded and to maintain record of funds raised
  • Document donor efforts in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge/NXT (CRM system)
  • Liaise and coordinate with the broader in-house development team (data, events, other fundraisers)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in fundraising is preferred, but previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, or marketing will also be considered
  • Experience with a customer relationship management database preferred
