Remote Finance Operations Manager

Requirements

• Proven experience in finance operations or a similar role, preferably within the travel, logistics, or e-commerce sectors
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to build and interpret reports
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams and external providers
• Experience with financial reconciliations, commission tracking, and contract management
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, particularly within the set work hours (12:00 to 21:00 CET)

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed reports on cash flows, categorized by sources, terms, and conditions of enrollment
• Analyzing inflows and outflows, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management
• Monitoring and managing payment service providers’ limits. Ensuring compliance with contractual limits and proactively identifying any potential issues related to provider accounts
• Creating comprehensive guidelines and instructions on how to work with various providers and financial institutions and standardizing processes for internal teams to ensure efficient financial operations and compliance with contracts
• Providing ongoing operational support to internal departments on financial matters related to providers and ensuring smooth coordination between the company’s internal services and external financial partners
• Monitoring provider tariffs, transaction volumes, and reconciling financial turnover
• Compiling and analyzing financial data to support the company's position in negotiations with providers and preparing relevant materials and recommendations to inform leadership during contract discussions and negotiations

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks) and financial management tools
• Knowledge of the travel or e-commerce industry is a plus
