Requirements

  • 8+ years of EDD experience
  • ACAMS, ACFCS or other industry leading certification
  • 4+ years of management experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing the periodic reviews including the monitoring of high risk customers
  • Knowledge and experience with global CDD/EDD requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with implementing customer risk scoring frameworks
  • Deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks
  • Knowledge of global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto related business activities
  • Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures
  • Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, and writing skills
  • Adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable to work in a fast-paced remote working environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Global Head of HRC/EDD in managing the Global High-Risk Client program and standard operating procedures
  • Provide strategic support and insights on high-risk customer monitoring and other critical HRC/EDD initiatives
  • Take ownership of the Global High-Risk Client program and standard operating procedures
  • Implement and oversee the high-risk customer monitoring program
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance products and systems related to HRC/EDD
  • Document global HRC/EDD requirements, including the global standard and compiling and maintaining the local requirements per country
  • Partner with local MLROs to ensure localization where applicable
  • Lead remediation projects related to HRC/EDD
  • Serve as the primary stakeholder in the customer risk scoring methodology
  • Stay current on global HRC/EDD standards such as FATF, as well as local requirements in regions where the company operates
  • Oversee HRC/EDD project prioritization
  • Monitor and manage metrics pertaining to HRC/EDD
  • Oversee global escalation processes related to HRC/EDD
