Summary
Join the VRChat team as a senior program manager and contribute to building a safer online environment. You will research industry trends, design data-driven solutions, and collaborate with internal and external teams to develop safety features and infrastructure. Leverage your program management, technical, and communication skills to mitigate trust and safety risks. Analyze user behavior, identify issues, and drive cross-functional resolutions. Lead global programs to enhance user safety and experience, partnering with engineering, product, legal, and support teams. Evaluate and recommend technical solutions to improve platform integrity and continuously improve the Trust and Safety program vision. This role requires a deep understanding of VRChat's community support architecture, product surfaces, and policy framework.
Requirements
- BA/BS, with evidence of technical experience or equivalent relevant experience
- 3-5 years of experience in program or project management, analytics, product, consulting, or equivalent team
- 2+ years of experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills on quantitative topics for non-technical and executive audiences
- Excellent problem-solving ability in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of VRChatβs community support architecture, product surfaces, and policy framework to inform strategic decisions
- Inform and implement strategies for managing and mitigating trust and safety risks
- Align Trust and Safety initiatives with company goals and product roadmaps, execution through clear KPIs, timelines, and deliverables
- Analyze user behavior and incident trends to proactively surface issues, identify bugs, and drive cross-functional resolution
- Work with cross-functional partners to assess support requirements for new product launches
- Analyze complex support flows and provide recommendations for process, policy and product improvements to develop scalable solutions
- Lead global, cross-functional programs that enhance user safety and experience, partnering closely with engineering, product, legal and support teams
- Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence team strategy through effective communication
- Evaluate and recommend technical solutions to mitigate abuse vectors and improve platform integrity
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve our Trust and Safety program vision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Trust and Safety and/or Compliance
- Experience at a start-up or technology company
- Experience working at a VR or metaverse-related company
- Experience working on a βliveβ app, shipping frequent updates and responding to user feedback
