As a Learning and Development Specialist, Operations, you'll play a key role in driving performance and professional growth of our Production Operations and Farm Support teams. You'll design and implement comprehensive training programs, collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate engaging training sessions, and oversee project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on manufacturing, hourly populations required, agricultural settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs that address the learning needs of our Production Operations and Farm teams
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including the Continuous Improvement team, operations leadership and crew members to identify training needs and performance gaps
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences using various delivery methods
  • Implement and manage onboarding programs for new Operations crew, ensuring a smooth integration into the company and a strong understanding of their roles and responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of learning programs, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communications
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies and programs that support performance, including coaching and mentoring programs
  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulatory standards (e.g. SQF, OSHA, FDA, etc.)
