Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in at least two foreign languages relevant to our main markets (French and German); fluency in English as our primary internal language
  • 5+ years of experience in localization in tech, translation company or agency
  • Proven experience in localization and translation management, preferably in managing multiple markets and brands
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the localization of content across Belgium, Germany and France within the languages German, Flemish and French for our brands
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality translations which are fitting the tone and voice of the brands as well as cultural nuances within the target markets
  • Create and continuously optimise a localization process for Aviv including connected tooling and vendors
  • Implement QA to ensure all translations in French, German and Flemish are meeting the expected quality and convey the intended message for all the target audiences
  • Collaborate with the UX-Writing team to ensure consistency within our terminology and content as well as shaping overarching guidance via e.g. Tone of Voice, agency briefings and UX Glossary
  • Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with all relevant stakeholders as e.g. Marketing, Legal, Product teams…
  • Implement, track and optimise quality metrics for localization efforts
  • Develop a strong understanding of cultural differences in the real estate industry and apply them to our products
  • Stay up to date with trends and technologies which helps to automise or scale localisation knowledge across various languages and teams
