Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a regulated payment business is essential
  • Strong financial acumen, commercial awareness, analytical skills, and the ability to display both a methodical and analytical approach to resolving problems
  • Change management skills - experience with/heavily involved with high-level process change
  • Exceptional leadership, combined with highly tuned interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder leadership skills both internally and externally; senior-level influencing, relationship management, and consulting
  • Ability to multitask multiple initiatives and own workload on both short and long-term initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Serve as and maintain expert-level SME knowledge on operational processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with best practices to drive efficiency and excellence across the organisation
  • Support project requirement specifications
  • Support production environment testing for happy and unhappy path scenarios
  • Create and own operational requirements and impact assessments
  • Create and own test plans, execution of production testing, and clear documentation of results
  • Create and own go live checklists and sign off
  • Create and own pilot and roll-out plan timelines
  • Create and own continuous improvement backlogs - tracking system/process improvements and prioritising accordingly with Product
  • Work closely with Product and Tech Teams to schedule testing to ensure efficient feedback loops on any issues discovered - support operationally on potential solutions
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure projects go live seamlessly - creating handover documentation/guides and running demos
  • Identify and raise any blockers, risks, or issues on new projects - assisting with troubleshooting and resolution alongside Product and Tech to VP Operations
  • Continuously grow knowledge around how operations work and how new projects are managed, built, and delivered cross-functionally. Run operational retrospectives after go live to improve efficiencies and share learnings
  • Be aware of potential compromises between speed and quality
  • Manage communications between relevant teams to ensure the correct people have the information they need to remain collaborative and thus maintain healthy team dynamics

About this role in the team:

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
