Remote Part-Time Localization Data Services Project Manager

Summary

Join Acolad, an international leader in language and content solutions, services, and technologies, as a Data Services Project Manager or Senior Data Services Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of large and complex data services projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, monitor progress, and adjust processes to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or University Degree in lieu of experience
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in data services or a closely related field
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and complex stakeholder relationships
• Experience with CAT Tools is required
• Very good analytical and organizational skills
• Resilient in stressful situations
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications and services (e.g MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale data projects
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through to successful delivery
• Strategically allocate resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage a dynamic project team, facilitating strong communication across all stakeholders
• Act as the primary liaison with client, maintaining and enhancing client relationships
• Proactively conduct risk assessments and devised tailored mitigation strategies
• Keep a stringent check on project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed parameters
• Implement quality control processes and monitor project outputs
• Continually identify and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize project outcomes
• Adapt to shifting schedules to manage global project timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, or others
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization
• Understanding of data structures and basic data modeling, which can aid in structuring projects and understanding client needs more deeply
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to enhance data-driven decision-making
