Requirements
- 7+ years demonstrated experience in HR/People roles
- Experience on HR/People team at a rapidly scaling startup

- Expert communicator and storyteller. Proficiency in English required
- Excellent influencing skills - able to manage up (senior leadership) or down (all employees) in the organization - to win hearts and minds

- Thrives on variety and adept at switching contexts
- Self-starter who can respond to problems independently and proactively providing solutions/outcomes
- Enjoys strategic problem solving and comfortable with hands-on execution
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining strong organization and attention to detail
- Skilled in building strong stakeholder relationships to secure buy-in for change
- Empathetic and capable of managing sensitive information/situations with discretion
- Passion for emerging technologies and creative problem-solving in decentralized systems
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic projects that elevate talent, performance, and culture across the organization
- Manage up, down, and across effectively to balance empathy with execution
- Work independently and confidently to drive key decisions that shape our people strategy
- Partner with business leaders and various functional teams on strategic and operational execution
- Support managers in identifying and addressing organizational and people issues
- Support the development of HR policies, practices, process, programs, and ensure their compliance with local labour laws and regulations
- Program manage several initiatives to ensure employees are engaged and continue to develop
- Work with the People Operations team on managing the U.S. HR Benefits/Policies & compliance for currently 30+ employees across 20+ states
