Remote Policy Associate I

Summary

Join our team as a Policy Associate to work directly with policy consultants, account managers, and client success teams to provide timely information about legislative and regulatory issues that impact clients' businesses. As a part of the Professional Services team, you will learn to engage with clients, review qualitative information, and decide if it meets our criteria.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in policy related field or education courses related to public policy, political science, or business administration
• Strong interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology
• Fast learner and comfortable adapting to new tools
• Strong independent research skills
• Ability to understand, analyze, and summarize complex issues in a succinct and timely manner
• Ability to synthesize high volumes of qualitative data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional organization
• Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism under pressure

Responsibilities

• Work directly with policy consultants, account managers, and client success teams
• Review and read lots of qualitative information/policy and decide if it meets our criteria
• Learn to engage with clients
• Produce legislative and regulatory summaries
• Uphold positive working relationships with internal and external teams at FiscalNote
• Provide timely and appropriate communication to all FiscalNote colleagues and employees
• Contribute to team documentation of policy areas and client priorities
