Service Operations Specialist

Summary

Join us at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) as a Service Operations Specialist, where you'll independently and collaboratively perform various activities associated with cyber security daily operations. This role offers a hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence, and flexibility to work from home one or more days per week.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Operations Associate Program Leader and represent the Operations team on CSP initiatives
• Serve as a working supervisor and provide direction/guidance to office staff members in support of program-specific missions
• Manage CSP document process from beginning to end in support of Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Livermore Field Office (LFO) requirements
• Represent the Operations team and program area in management and project meetings
• Interact with CSP colleagues, supervisors/leads and customers on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines to complete objectives
• Exercise independent discretion and judgment to define and develop the approach to team interactions to achieve the goals of the program
• Promote and support plans to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the program
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities of customers and stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met, while leveraging team member skills
• Oversee the preparation of custom reports, analyze data and make recommendations
