Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a Product Manager for our Technology team. This is a remote position with potential travel into our main office located in New Hyde Park, NY or the FreedomCare hub closest to you.

Requirements

  • Highly collaborative. You love being the bridge between tech teams (engineers, designers, product managers) and business teams (sales, marketing, and operations). You see problems from both business and tech perspectives and adeptly drive alignment across multiple teams
  • A quick study. Healthcare is complicated; you're curious by nature and excited to get into the details and become an expert in health infrastructure, from how claims are processed to how payments flow through the healthcare system
  • Strategic and analytical. You can turn new, vague ideas into implementable projects and identify new opportunities that move the needle. You use qualitative and quantitative insights to clarify decisions wherever possible
  • An end-to-end thinker. You can look at a problem and create a solution all the way from top-level goals to operational and system details
  • Great at prioritizing. There are a million ways to make the healthcare experience better. You zero in on the highest impact levers and hold your team accountable for doing the same
  • Incredibly detail-oriented – you excel at detailed documentation, remembering and understanding all the details, and keeping project teams aligned
  • Amazing communication and negotiation skills. You know how to communicate at all levels up and across the organization. You know how to gain buy-in from all types of roles and personalities. You are great at offering multiple solutions and options in order to get work completed
  • Expertise in one of these prior to Product Management: Software Engineering, UX, etc
  • 3-5 years of experience with at least 1 year of experience in Product Management or a related industry
  • Proficient in agile software development methodologies
  • Understanding of front-end and back-end technologies to communicate effectively with engineering teams
  • Understanding of how user and employee experience is impacted by functionality
  • Able to define, track and interpret key performance indicators and metrics to measure product success and performance
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Solution-centric, creative thinker with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • All-star relationship builder with excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Drive product features through their entire life cycle: ideation, specification and requirements, development, release, analysis and iteration
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate feature ideas. Including market research
  • Analyze key performance metrics and user feedback to measure the success of product initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and carry out feature launches (ie; planning UAT, assisting with release planning and validation)
  • Write both high-level requirements and detailed user stories for implementation
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including business stakeholders, legal, designers, engineering, etc to define product requirements
  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
