Requirements
- A degree in marketing, business or relevant on-the-job experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an events coordination role, preferably in the technology sector with working knowledge of best practices
- Strength in event budgeting, project management and supplier negotiation
- Ability to multitask, work accurately under tight timelines and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional organization and project management skills
- Able to outperform in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Plan and complete regional event campaigns after conducting preliminary research on our target market and focus accounts
- Maintain relationships and negotiate with retailers and other third-party partners in relation to event execution
- Partner with the sales leads to identify must-break opportunities, focusing on penetrating a defined number of key accounts
- Promote business expansion opportunities through successful regional events
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
- Work with our Digital Marketing and Marketing Ops team to manage any activity surrounding regional marketing campaigns
- Track expenses, and be prepared to report on metrics such as win rate and expansion rate
- Report weekly and monthly on the status of regional marketing event activities to the sales and PR teams
